IAR 222 (Design History)

Gotta Love the Subway!

My major is Interior Architecture. I'm a freshman for the 2nd time. I graduated from High Point University with a BS in Home Furnishings Marketing. I'm an adult student with a husband (Corry) of 12 years and 3 children (Chelsea, Cheyenne, Callie). We liked C's...so we kept it in the family. (1) Interesting thing I did this summer: My 11 year old daughter and I took an 11hr train ride to NYC. We got to spend quality time together for 4 days, while school shopping in underground boutiques an eating in restaurants that served authentic foods from around the globe.

Nature

Assignment: Combine two objects from nature with string.
When nature is blended there's no wrong. The bark from the tree is tan in color as well as the branch from the tree. They both are similar because they have been vital in their previous stage. Together these similarities in color and linear form make them still very purposeful in the environment. This is just a new way to view their beauty. The burnt red binding agent gives a punch of color to brighten up what seems to be lifeless otherwise.
